Just south of the main campus at Michigan State University is rolling farmland punctuated by patches of forest, barns, pastures and farm animals. Bennett Road runs east/west through this area. Trains run nearby,traffic is intermittent, and there aren't many people. It's a great place to get out of your car and walk and watch.
